Take Off Thurst Temp?

Hello,

So I just took off from Marsa Alam (HEMA) in the 763 and I was using the TOPER take off perf calc tool & it was saying that for:

Information:
TOW: 151.7
OAT: 32c
Wind: 350*/10kt
Rwy: 33 (Full runway)
Cond: Dry
QnH: 1011
A/C: On
A/I: Off

The outcome was:
Flaps: 5
V1: 148Kt
VR: 152Kt
V2: 157Kt
SelTemp: 69C

Now, I set this up in the FMC and then tried to set TO/GA on the EPR & set 69C, but it only allows me up to 50C max...

I'm 100% sure that the TOPER isn't spot on perfect, BUT I do feel that the 767 could produce a higher Temp Select than just 50C?

Can someone share some information on this for me?

Kind Regards

Is TOPER based on PW4060s?

Good shout, it's actually for the CF6 BUT I don't believe the PW4060 would have a 50c cap on it?  Undecided

The company I have info for only operates one type of engine so I can't say that I know! I also don't know that if 50*C happens to be the 25% max reduction so that's why it won't go any higher? Maybe someone else can chime in, but the type of engine definitely makes a difference, especially if one uses N1 and the other uses EPR.

Interesting, thank you for the information. - I'm intrigued to see where CS got the information to limit the SelTemp to 50c from? I could be completely wrong but would be nice to see something for this or if it's actually a bug?

I tried looking through the manuals, mainly at IV but couldn't find anything on it?

In our company's FPPM for 4060, the Assumed Temp Limit is above 70C for near sealevel and still over 50C at 9000', so I thinks it can go higher?
As the 25%, it's controller by FMC, if 50C already gives you 25% derate, you can still input 70 and get the same EPR by FMC.

But still, it could be a company option.

Hmmm, well I was at EGKK earlier with an OAT of 23c and just wanted to see what the Temp Select I could get max was 49c this time... Seems that it's dependent on OAT.... Strange?

I just set TO 1 for T/O today and left the temp sel alone.
