"STD" Button for Altimeter

I would very much like to see a "STD" button for the altimeter as is the case with most of the other Boeings in the sim. The CS 757 and 767 are amongst the ones missing this feature and it is rather nice to have when transitioning to higher altitudes (FL 18'0 and above).

I fly on VATSIM a good bit and having it right in front of me while looking at the instruments/windscreen would be really nice. For now, I have to look down and hit the "B" key.

The real airplane does not have an STD button, which is why these don't.

OK. Just a suggestion but it would still be nice to have one  Cry

This is correct, since the altimeter is a scroll knob you have to scroll in 29.92 to set standard.  The retrofitted flight decks change the altimeter setting to a digital one, with the included STD button.

Unfortunately on an old school style, you don't get the standard.  But hey there's your realism for you!

True. Maybe we can hope for a retrofitted version  Smiley

I hope so. My fingers are crossed, but I'm not holding my breath!

I'd like the option to have all altimeters sync'd. It'd also be awesome if shared cockpit were possible!

The best way I found to do it is that once you reach your transition altitude to go to 1013/2992, scroll the knob on all 3 altimeters to those numbers. Then once in cruise level, press "B" on your keyboard and it'll set the correct standard pressure  Smiley

Exactly. Push the "b" button.  As mentioned the real aircraft don't have them so why here?
