FD command TO/TO once airplane is airborne, has to give you enough pitch to maintain V2+15/V2+15 with both engines or V2/V2+15 OEI, until pitch mode is engaged, CS 767 is giving nose down FD order

Is this problem still on the "to do" list?

Yes.

Good question.. also the annoying THR button on the MCP going off at 80 knots... still!

Hope for a fix re pilot defined waypoints
Reply #139 - Jul 28th, 2020 at 2:11pm

A very good day,

Waypoints are stored in the memory part of the database (navigation database waypoints) or temporary (pilot defined non-nav database waypoints).
Pilot defined waypoints are created as PBD, PB/PB, along track, lat/long or course intersection and stored as temporary and will not be stored in the memory as a part of the monthly navigation database.
The problem I'm seeing here is out off JFK via CRI vor I tried to create a wpt as PBD, it did create wpt CRI01 which is showing correct on the legs page. Now when I tried to use this CRI01 to define another PBD waypoint I got an invalid entry message "NOT IN DATABASE", the reason is that new pilot defined waypoint created it's not coded correctly to be recognized as temporary, for the same reason I cannot create a new wpt as PB/PB or course intersection.
In real life, ATC will send you to different places that are constructed as pilot defined waypoints that are not necessarily part of the database, actually rather complicated clearances.
Please fix the issue, thank you.

1) VNAV activated on the ground. After takeoff, engaged autopilot. The VNAV light stayed illuminated but the plane went into V/S mode and showed a set vertical speed in the V/S window. Had to deselect and reselect vnav to make fix this.

2) You might want to have a look at the flight dynamics. I floated for ages on landing at vref -15 knots. You read that right, 15 knots below vref and still lots of lift left. Is the plane ever gonna fall out of the sky?

or

folder.

Winglets must be OFF! (via ACE).

I report "APPROACH" issue.

1.reference manual
  PART IIF - FLIGHT MANAGEMENT SYSTEM(VERSION: 30 MAY, 2020)
  11.9 FMC DESCENT AND APPROACH

  "APPROACH" section "6. APPROACHES"

2. Version info
   P3D 4.5.14.34698
   CS767-II V0.996
AIRAC 2009 rev 1 from Navigraph FMS Data

3. issue step

  (1)setup flight plan
   ex.
   ORIGIN:RJTT, RUNWAY:34R, DEST:RJEC
Route:SID(ROVER1C dep. BRUCE trans.) AGRIS Y11 NAVER Y139 ASIBE

  (2) Choose STAR
Choose "ILS-34 Z" from RJEC arrivals

Then, FMC display "ARR N/A FOR RUNWAY" message.

  Another step
  (1) FMC only input "DEST:RJEC"
  (2) Choose "ILS-34 Z" from RJEC arrivals

I think there is no error because the real world B767 can choose this procedure.
(I can't show the flightradar24.com's capture because the operation airplane size is getting smaller due to COVID-19.)

In the attached flight plan in zip file, the route that "SID(ROVER1C dep. BRUCE trans.) AGRIS Y11 NAVER Y139 ASIBE" as much as possible is entered.

* I also prepared a capture, but I could not paste it because I do not have permission...

From ASIBE are you attempting to select the OSOBA arrival (STAR) with this approach to RWY34? If so, the STAR only services runway 16. Just making sure that's not the issue.

No. I'm not selecting STAR (and TRANS).

You find capture as follow that I'm not selecting STAR (and TRANS).

Even in "another step", there are both cases where possible input and not possible.

  > (1) FMC only input "DEST:RJEC"

OK:RNAV Z RWY16, RNAV Y RWY16
NG:ILS Z RWY 34

The common point when not possible is that the runway edge and the IAF are close (I guess...).

Info:RJEC ILS Z RWY 34 procedure from AIS Japan
