Hi, the VNAV PTH VS VNAV SPD is not working well, when doing a descend on VNAV PTH if the airplane looses the path more that 150ft it should automatically change to VNAV speed and the airplane will follow the speed comand. If flying on VNAV pth and you do speed intervention the airplane correctly changes to VNAV SPD on the fma but the airplane will continue to Follow the path, instead of following speed.

I hope you can figure out this !! thanks

Loss of autothrottle control.

During cruise, about 1 hour into the cruise at FL375 the autothrottle disconnected. The aircraft went into overspeed. Autothrottle would not reengage. Had to manually manage the speeds throughout the duration of the flight.

Also getting an unable cruz alt error of anything above FL350. Aircraft was lite. Only flight crew weight onboard PDX-PHX.

Happened to me as well. When it disconnected, the throttles went to idle and the speed decreased. However, I was able to reconnect the AT and continue.

THR Hold disengages on takeoff run.
VNAV does not respect 250 KTS at or below 10000

Hello,

P3D 4.5.14.34698
767 v0.93

When selecting flap 5 and 15 the flaps are not in the correct position however the slats seem fine.

Bug:
Selecting a STAR (757 and 767)

Flight Phase:
Preflight

Manual Reference:
Manual Part 2F, page 172 / 173

Proof Links:
https://youtu.be/uStkRJ1Srvo

Issue: When selecting a STAR, for some reason a runway is always selected (757 same issue). Real planes would never do this, would lead to loss of situational awareness. When STARs are loaded and they have  multiple ending transitions (transitions at the end of the STAR), the STAR simply ends at the latest common fix until you chose a runway or an ending transition in this case, it would only load until JFUND. For some reason on the CS 757/767 when you only load a star, it choses a random runway for you and adds the missed approach and everything. It should only load the star and that's it. See video for example, I only selected JFUND and it loaded an approach for me. 757 has this same issue and I've just dealt with it until now.

Bug:
APU Cooldown (757 and 767)

Flight Phase:
Taxi-Out - After start checklist

Manual Reference:
Manual Part 2, page 197

Issue: APU cooldown is mentioned in the CS manual so it should me modelled or removed from the manual. Rotating the selector to OFF immediately closes the APU bleed valve, and electrics remain for a bit (up to two minutes). In the cool-down period, rotating the selector back to start will cancel the shutdown sequence.
Also, the RUN light will stay on during the whole cool-down.

Proof:
"To protect the unit from thermal shock, the APU control system incorporates a
time-delay feature permitting APU cooling before shutdown. The time delay
is variable from 0 to 120 seconds. If the APU is supplying pneumatic power,
rotating the APU selector to OFF begins the shutdown cycle by closing the APU
bleed air valve. If the APU bleed air valve has been closed for a sufficient length
of time when the selector is moved to OFF, the APU shuts down without delay
and the RUN light extinguishes."

Bug:
THR light button on the MCP doesn't stay on until VNAV is engaged (757 and 767)

Flight Phase:
Takeoff - 80KIAS to Acceleration altitude

Manual Reference:
Manual Part 2, page 114

Issue:
The *either based on operator options* EPR/N1 / THR button (NOT talking about the FMA) should be lit from when it's pressed, to when VNAV is engaged. we've all seen on CS at 80 knots for some reason the light goes off with throttle HOLD, throttle hold and the button being lit can and does happen at the same time.

Proof:
This is a tough one because it doesn't exactly say it anywhere (I don't think). However it is common knowledge and provable in many youtube videos, computer based trainings / home study modules, study guides and lessons for teaching the TO profile. (Understand I can't post any airline training material on this forum as it is very obvious who the airline is and the wording is unique to the training department so I can't steal their words).

Bug:
Flight Directors climb command (757 and 767)

Flight Phase:
Takeoff - Liftoff to Acceleration Altitude

Manual Reference:
Manual Part 2, page 114

Issue:
Flight director commands some crazy takeoff pitch. According to CS manual it should be "pitch command greater of V2 + 15 or liftoff speed + 15"

Proof:
Your manual
My V2 was 156, notice the pitch that was actually needed for me to maintain V2+ ~15

Bug:
VNAV SPD/PTH Errors (757 and 767)
Great reports, thanks!

Flight Phase:
Approach - Final Approach

Manual Reference:
Airline 757/767 Flight Manual - Normal Procedures section
1: "Vertical – Select/verify VNAV. (VNAV PTH required no later than FAF/FAP/GP Intcpt.)"

2: "MCP SPEED INTERVENTION
With VNAV engaged, pushing the IAS MACH selector enables speed
intervention. Speed intervention allows the pilots to change aircraft speed with
     the IAS/MACH selector.

The above illustration shows VNAV mode for each phase of flight during speed
     intervention.
If speed intervention is selected during a VNAV PTH descent, VNAV PTH pitch
mode changes to VNAV SPD and the aircraft may depart the FMC calculated
descent path. In all other phases of flight, the AFDS captured pitch mode
remains unchanged when speed intervention is selected.

In approach phase (see VNAV Approach topic this chapter/section), during
speed intervention, pitch mode remains in VNAV PTH and the vertical path is
maintained regardless of IAS/MACH selector changes."

Issue:
On an RNAV approach, VNAV PTH should be annunciated NO LATER than FAF/FAP/GP Intcpt. On CS, there's a strange bug where whenever you do a speed intervention, the FMA always goes to VNAV SPD mode. The real plane will stay in VNAV PTH even in a speed intervene situation, if you're level or on an approach. You can do a speed intervene and the plane can still be in VNAV PTH simultaniously. After just completing an RNAV approach with LNAV/VNAV mins, the plane seems to fly and follow the path very well, and thrust is doing the right thing. The only issue is the FMA should say VNAV PTH instead of VNAV SPD.

On FIX page, there are 2 pages, 2 possible fixes. But the second page is bugged, actually you can only set one Fix.

We can't replicate: https://drive.google.com/file/d/1mLp0B3LYk8NcTJkbeqwXl5lrxN4nkRp9/view

By the way, I couldn't get the FMC to set the Pax to 211. Setting at 211 changes it to 95. Maybe I'm doing something wrong or have a wrong setting?

Edit: This only happens when you're flying on KGS. On KGS, youre not allowed to put more than 95 Passengers on Economy (and even less on the other classes). On LBS it works just fine.

Okay. Saying that this happens only when using KGS makes a big difference. Grin
It must be a bug because I can't set the pax to 211 either (17, 5, 95 is all that I can get), when the I have the SELECT WEIGHT UNITS set to KG.

You need to add this to the 767 Captain II - Bug Tracking forum.

You can set the gear lever up on ground. In real situations it is blocked.
