How to recover FlightSimStore orders??? (Read 1789 times)

	Hello all, After nearly a 2-year absence I have gotten back into flight simming . Much to my dismay though, I found out that the website where I bought almost all of my Captain Sim products, the FlightSimStore, went bankrupt and shut down their servers. My email that I used for all my orders has been shut down for over a year now as well (no longer a part of their domain), and as such, I can't obtain my old order numbers. Is there any way at all that I can re-obtain them? I'm willing to provide as much proof as possible in order to obtain my old order numbers. If that isn't possible, then oh well I suppose. Thank you in advance!

I assume if I don't have the order number handy and my email associated with the orders is shut down then I'm out of luck?

	What about the FSS Order emails? Do you have one around somewhere?

	If you have any emails from FSS with the Order Number(s) included in it, then you can use that order number to login with. I still have all of mine from 2009. I bought the CS757 v4.x (1st CS product I bought) from FSS, and I use the order number from it to login to my profile. That then gives me access to all the Captain Sim products I've bought since then. I use the EDS to download them if/when I need to.

I know that the FlightSimStore has gone, and you can't access any files from them (I bought many products from them) but any email you received from them should be in your possesion, not theirs. I still have all the emails from them with the order number, product name, serial number, and the cost.

The FlightSimStore never stored the emails I received after purchasing any product, although they did keep a copy of the order/sale, that had the same details that the email had. Anything you buy digitally, normally comes with a strong advisdory to keep a copy, or print out a copy, of the email for if you need proof of purchase.
