Hello

With regard to the FSX-SE L1011 latest ed.  System Win10 latest version.

I've now reinstalled the airplane several times with all my security turned off.  I think I'm getting a good install now all gauges are working and sounds are OK.  I fact everything is OK with one exception the Autopilot.  Whatever I do I cannot get the AP to follow the HDG cmd or VS etc.

This is a new FSX-SE install btw and the only other aircraft at this time installed is the Milviz B55

If anyone has any ideas or suggestion on this problem I would be sooooo grateful.  It's so frustrating heeeellllllppp Cry

1. Make sure that one of the Autopilot Switches is in CMD mode, not CWS Mode.
2. After that, turn on HDG Mode and it should track the heading setting.
3. Click on the VS Switch, and set the Vertical Speed, and it should do that.
4. Make sure that you are not using IAS Mode (it overrides the VS Switch), and that the NAV Source Selector is in VOR Mode, not FMS Mode (or ONS which is for 3rd Party navigation, like the SimuFly Delco INS).

Like you see in the attached image.

Also, this topic belongs in the 1011 Captain - General forum (32bit - FSX/SE/P3D3 version), not the 1011 Captain II - General forum (64bit - P3D4 version). Wink

Mark, thankyou for your quick reply.  I've since tried one more install this time though I used the the manual authorization process.  The good news is the install was a good one and the L1011 works! With the previous install I checked the file held in captainsim, program data, it showed that there were indeed errors caused by the firewall even though this was, as I thought, turned off.  So even if you think all your security is off it may not be something to remember for me. Anyway thanks for your help it was very much appreciated. Cheesy A happy simmer here!

Stay safe and keep strong
All the best

Steve
