parking brake?

Just installed version 1.5 of the basepack and cannot use the park brake furthermore the aircraft will not move under application of thrust (parking brake problem?).

Any ideas what is going on (no warning messages are being flagged)?

Problem solved about the aircraft not moving: I had modified the sim1.dll file in the root directory of P3D v4.5 and the rolling friction is too low to permit the aircraft to move under application of thrust.

However the parking brake is inoperative which may be a bug.

Which model?

I have now tried it in the 757-200ER PW in P3D v4.5 (4.5.13.32097), and the parking brake is working fine for me, *regardless of whether EP/EA is in use, or the APU is ON or OFF. Undecided

*When I tried it in the 757-200ER PW in FSX, it worked. However, without EP/EA, or the APU OFF, it worked 5 times, then stopped working. With EP/EA in use, or the APU ON, it worked continuously.

It happened to me, but then it was because I had the hydraulics off because of the pushback with towbar and the hydraulic pressure was too low over time. The parking brake worked again after switching on the electric hydraulic pumps after pushback.

Still no joy with me. What do you mean by EP/EA? I have tried every -200 variant with same results, i.e. parking brake inoperative by mouse clicking but CTRL+. sequence by keyboard does. I should have emphasised that mouse clicking on the park brake is not working correctly whereas the standard keyboard sequence does.

I'm not sure if you are aware of this, but it's not a case of pressing the Left Mouse Button, and the Parking Brake is set/released. Press and hold the Left Mouse Button, then move the mouse forward (Parking Brake set), or move the mouse backward (Parking Brake released).

EP = External Power.
EA = External Air.
You can see the EP, and EA icons on the SimIcons panel (SHIFT+2). See attached image.
