[FSX] No Landing, Taxi or Turn off Lights (Read 3452 times)

	I recently Purchased the 757-200 PW and -300 for my Birthday, and I love every minute of them, Except for the Fact I don't have Landing or Taxi lights. They don't light up the ground or even illuminate on the model at all. Did I change a Setting that b needs to be set? did I do something wrong, or do they just not work. Any help is welcome, Thanks! (picture Examples)

	Go to the Menu > Options > Display > Aircraft tab, and in the Exterior settings, place a checkmark (tick) in the box for Aircraft landing-lights illuminate ground (see attached image), and that should solve the problem.

I have that Enabled, I’ll try again though. I was looking through my Effects folder, and I didn’t see any Captainsim Anything So I will re-Install too EDIT: I have Reinstalled, Re- Enabled, and reloaded all of my 757's, And I still have the issue. I am using Shockwave lights on other Aircraft, but NOT the captain sim 757 (-200 or -300)

	So From what I've read, FSX does not Have Landing Lights Desplayed. The Manual Says P3D4 only. So now my Question is Dose FSX even Have Landing Ligths that will illuminate the Ground whatso ever? I Have Tried Everything from Reinstalling FSX, the 757, Restarting my PC, and Anything i can think of, and Still No landing lights Illuminating anything. Im not trying to be rude and a Pain, but for $70 i feel that Landing lights Would've been nice

	The Landing Lights, and Taxi Lights, definitely illuminate the ground on the 757 III Captain (32bit) in FSX. The attached image is of the CS_B757-200-III_PW2037, in FSX, ready for takeoff with Landing Lights, and Taxi Lights, ON.

	Attached is the FSX_display_settings.zip file with all of my current display settings in FSX - graphics.jpg, aircraft.jpg, scenery.jpg, weather.jpg, and traffic.jpg. These settings give me good frame rates for Captain Sim aircraft with my current PC specs, which are shown in my signature below.

	I do find it strange that you're having this problem. In the original image, you're using the a Delta Airlines livery. Is it only that livery, or added liveries, or all liveries including the default Captain Sim liveries, when selected? In FSX, the only way I could make it so the lights weren't showing on the ground, was to uncheck the Aircraft landing-lights illuminate ground.

I reinstalled The Captainsim Multiple times, Reatarted my PC did all I could think of. The only thing that Fixed it was re installing FSX and installing everything Addon by Addon. I personally think it was the Shockwave lights by A2A that did it, But don’t 100% know. Whatever I did reinstalling fixed it. Thanks for all the amazing help all of you guys!!
