Cold & Dark

Hi all,

Since it's mentioned on Page 1 of the Tutorial, and that's like the basic state I want the aircraft to be, I was wondering how can I do that? is there a button, CDU option, scenario, etc for Cold & Dark?

Thanks,

Emperor Jimmu

I hope it's planned? I mean do you think you can charge 135$ on a plane, which is the same as other (P\M\D\G) - for some reason you can't write that word), and not offering the same level of service?

I won't regurgitate all of the welcome brief, but it's important to research an fs product before you purchase it (a mistake I've certainly made in the past).

I have been a very happy user of the 757 Captain III for a while and have enjoyed a reliable product with a range of baked in features not offered from competitors (volumetric lighting for one which imo should be standard for P3DV4 aircraft). I knew what I was getting before I purchased, and I suspect the price will remain below their intended product price until the developers feel the development matches the price point. To get the same features I wanted from the current competitor, I would have had to spend roughly $180 USD!!! ($134.99 for the aircraft, $27 for volumetric lighting, and another $20 USD for wireless CDU)

I would highly recommend reading the Normal Procedures section of the manual, specifically the Shutdown Procedures. The 777 is a relatively quick and easy aircraft to shutdown and with a few simple clicks and switches, the aircraft can get to a cold and dark state.

All of the CS 777 II models start in a near cold and dark setting for me. They never start in P3Dv4 with the engines running, and due to the request of Emperor Jimmu, I have to assume it's because I have set my default flight to a Piper J-3 Cub cold and dark.
