Aircraft Loses Control On Autopilot

Regardless if I run a complete preflight setup through the CDU or simply takeoff, level, and engage the autopilot with heading, the aircraft begins to spin completely out of control barrel rolls and all. Completely unrealistic. Why is this happening?

I don't know why it's happening to you, as I have done many successful flights.

Hi Markoz,

Simply stating you have not experienced my issue  doesn’t offer any constructive input or otherwise have any relevance whatsoever to my problem. I believe that’s the purpose of bug reporting. Not everyone is going to experience the same issues necessarily.

That said, the issue exists. Leave the CDU completely out of the equation.  Complete taking off and leveling out the aircraft manually then activating auto pilot to hold the heading, the aircraft begins to barrel roll and spin out of control. I’ve got plenty of video.

I complained about this a long time ago and have not flown it since, just flying other aircraft till they get around to doing updates "next year".

Pls attach a flight saved right before the AP engagement.

Not sure if this will help anyone but for me the issue was my hardware controls. I disabled them all and re-assigned in P3D. If you are using some kind of external software that injects the inputs into the sim, disable that. and calibrate direct in P3D.

Not to say the condition does not exist but I have never had a Captain Sim product barrel roll or turn out of control or anything out of control.
However, what I have experienced is on a long flight there have  been times when the aircraft (777) is following the flight route and then for what ever reason won't pick up a way point which results in off course condition.  When I check the FMC the way point is in fact in the FMC. This doesn't happen all the time but on at least three occasions during the last month while doing a long haul.
