No Trent Engines

Good day,
I noticed that the page for the 777-200ER for v4 has no mention of the Trent 892 engines that were found in the 32 bit version. Does this mean that the Trents will not be coming in a future update?

The current beta version is a single model at this stage. Of course only Captain Sim can answer whether other models are going to be included in the specific Base Pack/Expansion Models, or not.

Yes, unfortunately we have to drop the Trent variant in the 777 Captain II for numerous reasons.

That's sad, most 777-200ER's were actually powered by Trent 892/895's with the PW4084/90/98 coming in close second. I hope in future we will eventually find a way to get the Trent powered 772's.

Will there be a 777-200LR included in the Base Pack, like there is for the old 32bit version?

Shame no trent variant. Cry Was truly looking forward to using it with Delta but oh well, will try to enjoy the other variants once those come out.

Greetings CaptainSim.

I would like to publicly thank you for giving us the ER version of the airplane. It does add to the realism that we seek while flying for virtual airlines. Thank you, again, Smiley for your work and continued support.

In response to your statement here, while I understand you (as the company) reserve the right to how much information is shared, when you leave such an ambiguous statement - with the phrase for numerous reasons - it is almost hard to ask a follow up; well, what are these reasons?

I, too, share the sentiments of the earlier poster who said that most of the airlines that use the ER version - use the RR and PW. While we are grateful for the upgrade, it somewhat seems like many of us are left out again.

If you will, shed some light as to why the most wanted variant has been shot (hopefully not dead  Smiley  )

Regards,

P'Rez

The existing FSX Trent engine model is ugly, so there's no way we'll bring it into 64-bit world.
On another hand, making a new=proper Trent engine model is not our top priority.

I think it looks like a correct representation, and having it is better than having nothing. I used it a lot in the 32 bit world, so it works for me in 64bit too.

Hi CS Team,

I am indeed grateful you gave a response.  Smiley

I kinda wanna join with the person above me there... we don't even care about the looks of the engines lol whether they are ugly or not.. just give us the variants and then, as you said, since they are low priority - you get to it when you get to it.  Smiley

I do hope the team can reconsider because I don't like flying the LR version on flights that aren't LR.

Warmest Regards,

P'Rez
