777 connect purchased and installed, showing in add-ons,  777 connect installed on tablet, IP & port numbers installed.  When executive is initiated it shows connecting to FSX, this fails in 2 minutes,  Wi Fi is connected.  Any help appreciated.  Have re-instelled both several times

Have you done everything in the step-by-step installation guide?

yes, followed the instruction, I feell there is a poor or non existing connect between FSX and tablet.  The status is shown as connecting however it fails in a few minutes going back to disconnected status.  Executive light again lites up for try again.  This situation just continues itself.  I might add that I do use this tablet with Navigraph and another company without  connection problems. thanks for any considerations.

I just tested it on mine, and it works. I uninstalled/reinstalled FSX:SE about a week ago, and hadn't used the 777 Wireless CDU since reinstalling.
At first I thought it wasn't connected, even though it said it was, but after a few minutes, I went throught the IDENT, POS pages on the CDU in FSX:SE, it suddenly appeared syncronised on my Android v8.0.0 phone.

I confirmed position, same results, I believe minor exist between pv and tablet both apps seem to be doing their thing with prolonged connecting resulting in disconnect showing on tablet.  I'll play with things and report for others if I'm lucky, thanks for your help.(CYOW)

After my last post, and trying to get things going  I reentered the position co-ordinates in the CDU only to find that they do not remain after entering.  They post for 5-10 seconds then clear.  Is it possible this is my problem.  I never noticed this before installing 777 connect.  What would cause the co-ordinates to self clear?

Hello,
Do you have installed Bonjour Print Services for Windows?
Your device will be connected to 777 Captain CDU automatically.

I must admit that I assumed that exit had Bonjour Print Services installed, but after taking a closer look at the step-by-step installation guide, I see that Bonjour Print Services is optional for Android devices. I always thought it had to be installed to use the 777 Wireless CDU.

I had the same connection problems. Then I installed Bonjour,
and this prob was gone. But then I got sometimes a half screen
on my tablet, in green colours.
Now I left Wireless CDU und use only the one from the panel.

A while ago, I tested it without the Bonjour Print Services, and it looked and worked fine for me in my Samsung Galaxy S8+. After I installed the 777 II Wireless CDU, which installed Bonjour Print Services, it still looked and worked fine for me.

Note. The latest version of the Wireless CDU (csa774_1820), which I just downloaded, and installed, also installs the Bonjour Print Services (at least that's what it looks like it's doing during the installation).
