Strobe Lights displaced

Strobe Lights are not placed at the light assembly, but beneath it.

The strobes have been placed that way (hidded behind a winglet) on purpose.
Otherwise the strobe will shine through the winglet right into the cabin.

Hi CS,

thanks for your explanation!
But why do the NAV/POS lights for example do not shine through the wings, but the Strobes does?
Is the effect or the winglet anyhow special?

Best Regards,
Alexander

Yes, is the strobe fx is way more sharp and powerful to simulate the "20 miles away" visibility.
Moreover the NAV/POS are being blocked by the wing thickness while the strobe is right on the thin winglet top.
