Hello ,
I have a question concerning B-737 engines !
When i start a flight everything is Ok and all systems work perfect ! During a flight of more than 20-30 min my engines Shut Off , and despite trying to Start them again they won't start ! I get some alarms red , yellow flashing but i don't know what else to do !! I have no idea what is going on , my fuel is around 50% .
Any help will be appreciated .
Thank you in advance

This might be caused by the default aircraft you use in FSX/P3D. In FSX/SE, I use the default C172, in a cold and dark setting, but with the Avionics On. Also make sure that the Fuel Selector in the C172 is set to ALL. It is set to ALL by default, but it might not ber set to all if a different aircraft was used prior to loading the default C172 saving the default flight.

In P3Dv3, I use the default Beech Baron 58, with the same settings I use in FSX/SE, and in P3Dv4.4 I use the J3 Cub, and again use the same settings I use for FSX/SE/P3Dv3.

While I believe the 737 will still receive fuel if the Left and Right (FWD & AFT) fuel pumps are OFF, it's worth making sure that they are ON just in case they don't.

Note. Seeing as you didn't say which flight sim you were flying the 737 in, I covered the settings I use for FSX/SE, P3Dv3, and the latest version of P3Dv4.4, so that it might help you solve your problem. Wink

Hello Markoz and thank you for your reply !
I forgot to mention that i am using Prepar3dv4.4 !
For default aircraft i am using the AC11 Commander , and i have saved my default flight with engines off ! So whenever i start a flight i like to turn them on ! ( I haven't checked the Avionics ... )
I will check tomorrow and check if my fuel pumps are on or off and let you know .
Thanks again ,

Mike

I did a flight in the 737 after first selecting the AC11 commander 114, and when my fuel reached 50%, the engines continued to run. I did notice that the AC11 has a fuel tank selector for BOTH (ALL) fuel tanks, and it was set to that before I loaded the CS 737-200 (American Airlines livery). Because I still had the J-3 Piper Cub as the default flight, it may have overridden the default fuel tank selector setting.

I saw somewhere on the CS Forum (I think it was one of the 757 Captain III forums), that using a Carenado aircraft can cause problems with it. It might be the same for the 737.
