Hi there,

I am having a look at a few of the model files for the CS757, I noticed when applying the tomatoshade profiles on the previous version it was perfectly fine, but it seems as though the aft section of the fuselage does not want to accept any reflections from tomatoshade with 1302. I'm not looking for assistance with tomatoshade, but was there anything changed with the model, specular or bump files with this update?

This is not an issue with the livery as it happens with the default CS livery as well.

Thanks,
Sgt_Tailor

We'll check.
Just out of curiosity, what's the point of appying the tomatoshade to the latest update models? Could you pls post some comparison screen shots of how it makes anything look any better?

So typically this is without tomatoshade is the picture without tomatoshade but some bump and spec maps and it can on;y provide a decent amount of light off the aircraft. But the other ones; you can notice the light properly reflecting off of the aircraft. Albeit, those aren't the latest model. I just have them to show you the power of tomato. But the reason ?I ask for PBR is because Tomatoshade is not supported but 90% of devs out there. And PBR is more customizable to certain parts of the aircraft. https://imgur.com/a/ChaaiBV

Hi there,

I did see that the new update did consist of some new material which does look good, but the way the reflections look from tomatoshade makes it look really nice in my opinion. I have a feeling that if you guys are able to tweak the material, it could look absolutely stunning.

These images are prior to the latest update.

Well, all I see is excessive gloss on the engine intake and exhaust bare metal which is supposed to be satin not gloss.
As for the painted areas gloss, the latest update models provide pretty much the same.

BTW we've checked the materials of the map which looks different. They are identical. But obviously they are different from previous versions. Check the textures bump/alpha/etc

That's the down side of tomatoshade. It adds the reflections to the whole bmp. That's why I prefer PBR and say it's more customizable.

Interesting, I did not expect them to do identical as applying the same values to each fuselage section comes out differently. Either way I've found a value that works as intended.

Thanks for checking on that.
