707 will not install (Read 2535 times)

	Hi, I have noticed a few other threads on this but I cannot find if the recommendations actually worked. I am trying to install in FSX and the 'install' button is grayed out. I have right clicked and installed as an administrator and turned off AV also but still no luck. Sorry in advance if the answer is out there but I have trawled the 35 pages three times now. Thanks

	Does the installer automatically find the FSx location? You should see something similar to what I see in the attached image, when installing for FSX, and/or FSX-SE, and the INSTALL button is available for both. What do you see/not see in the installer, when the INSTALL button is grayed out?

	Hi, Yes it does find the FSX location which I have copied and pasted below so everything looks just fine. The box looks exactly the same as yours butthe problem is that the you cannot click on the install box. C:\Program Files (x86)\Microsoft Games\Microsoft Flight Simulator X\

	- go to FSX root folder (where fsx.exe located) - copy and paste fsx.exe - rename fsx - Copy.exe as FS9.exe It should help.

	Hello CS Team, I cannot thank you enough, the nightmare is finally over. I followed exactly what you said to do and it works!!!!! I can finally enjoy the 707 Thanks Again....

So I would have had to backup/rename the fs9.exe before I could rename fsx - Copy.exe as FS9.exe. I don't think I would have ever have come up with that solution seeing as I already have an fs9.exe in both my FSX, and FSX-SE root folders.

	Hi Mark, I would never have guessed it would have worked either but I am always willing to give anything a go. When I saw the install button highlight I was so happy so thank you for all your help.
