First of all try a complete re-install.

If Crash To Desktop persists:

CTD issues are very system-specific and difficult to reproduce/track, so please provide at least the following info:

1. FULL version of your sim (e.g. P3D and the product (e.g. 1.402) in the first line of your report.

2. Your system specs.

3. Screenshot or a text copy of the full error message if any.

4. How long was the flight before the CTD?

5. Position/flight stage at the CTD? (e.g. FL200 VNAV descend)

6. What was the last thing you did (e.g. turned smth ON/OFF, used the sim menu etc) before CTD?

7. After the CTD, try to reproduce the situation and SAVE the scenario - press ;

8. ZIP all 3 files of the saved scenario:
(located in %USERPROFILE%\Documents\Prepar3D v4 Files\  folder)

9. Attach the ZIP archive to your post.

Thank you.

I've just started getting this with the 757 with P3Dv4.5.

Instant CTD after selecting a 757 then clicking to fly. Same after a complete uninstall/fresh install.

I'll re-download my archive(s) again and try another install before making a report.

EDIT: It turns out I appear to have some sort of a "global" CS issue - for *all* my CS aircraft - so I've started a new topic here: | P3Dv4.5 | Intel Core i7 @ 3.4GHz | 8GB DDR3 | nVidia GTX970 | Win10 Pro 64-bit
