I am trying to find out in the manual how the wind data request wind works and i cant find anything.

Is it simulated? and if yes how can i request the wind data?

you can add winds of waypoints manually in the legs page RTE data as well. But if you have a long route it will take time to add them all. There is an option to request them on the left side but it does not seem to be working. (or i am doing something wrong).
