ACE not included in CS757 III download
Nov 4th, 2018 at 11:05pm
Print Post
I recently purchased the CS757 III and CS 777. After installing both programs I noticed that the CS757 did not have the ACE anywhere in the directory. I checked the directory for the other CS (707,727 & 777) and theirs was in their respective directory.
I have deleted the program, de-activated both Windows Defender and Kaspersky and re-downloaded (twice) it from CaptainSim, but still no ACE found.
I have to admit it is quite frustrating.  Cry
Please help

The chances are that if you installed the 757 III without turning off, or disabling, your Anti Virus software, that they were moved to the Virus Chest/Vault.

See this Topic: ACE and antivirus

Good Morning Mark,

I have read your reply and I did go back and check both Windows Defender Firewall and Kaspersky Quarantine vaults. To my surprise both programs had attacked the CS757 download as a Trojan. I was quite surprised since I have never seen Kaspersky react to a new FSX Add-on with such speed. Funny because it accepted CS777 and the CDU cnx as friends.  Grin
It may have something to do with how Windows 10  operates (new PC).
I tagged the download as a trusted program and voila, CS757 III with ACE is installed.
I will now take it for a systems check and see if all works as expected.

Thanks.

Hi Mark,
I had a chance to check the CS757III and all seems to be working well with the exception of the ACE.
The only thing the ACE will do, is to allow me to download the various liveries available.
It will not do any Pax and/or Cargo load configurations unlike in the 707,727 and 777.
I have checked the included manuals but cannot find anything in that regard.
So, the question is how can I change the Fuel/Payload for the CS757III?

Disregard my previous posting. I just discovered that the Fuel/Payload changes are done via the FMC. Learning to do things differently. Cheesy
