Boeing 767 for P3D V4

Dear Captain Sim,

One of my favourite planes is the Boeing 767. I have seen that you guys have made an awsome B757 (not bought it myself yet) From what I have seen on pictures and video's I wonder if you guys were already working on the Boeing 767.

It looks a lot like the B757, the cockpit of the 757 and 767 is not that differend and 80% of the old FSX model still works in P3D V4... I really wish to fly this plane in my sim (P3D V4) one day!  Wink

Awaiting your response!

Greatings, Robin

It's definitely not a dead aircraft - was just at Boeing recently and they're making the Freighter version for FedEx, as well as a tanker model for the USAF.

Not to mention it's still flown by other carriers out there.

Honestly, would love if someone made the 767-400, but know it's a dream...

I would also love to see this aircraft updated for P3Dv4, so I hope it eventually makes it onto the list. Wink

I'd love to see it as well. With correct winglets, nose and engine modeling as well as improved systems.

Day one purchase if it makes it to v4 like that.

I agree, a 767 is a big hole that needs to be filled within the P3d sim and that's a market that is very open currently.

Captain Sim it's up to you. You have a good but quite no outstanding Boeing 757.

If you would make some efforts to push the quality of the B757 up and improve the performance a little bit and release a Boeing 767-300ER (WL) on this basis, you would be the only developer with a good add-on for P3D. Thats your chance Smiley

I would really love to consider this as my next add-on!

Considering that others (Level DEE) refuse to work on a project to port from P3Dv3 to V4 is a farce.Ā

Try to ask anything from them is a sin. All you get is "we don't tell anything we don't tell about."Ā  Isn't that right D.Shutt?

Captain Sim can steal their (Level DEE) clients if they make the 767 for P3DV4 and include the 2D panels.

You'll have hundreds of buyers.

Definitely support this. Please make it happen! It wouldnt even be that hard. With the new 757, the cockpit is pretty much done already.

I would be willing to pay again for an upgrade of the FSX version also. Don't forget please that there are many FSX captains out here on the 767 also. Please don't leave us behind as one other developer did recently.

Good luck with that request. Sadly, I think that FSX has gone the way of FS9/FS2004 with Captain Sim, as seen with the recently released 777 Captain II, which is for P3Dv4 only. Undecided

I think that I should mention that FSX/SE is still my favourite, and preferred, flight sim. Cheesy Grin

When I think of what it took for me in terms of cost and work over the last 6 years to go from FS9 to FSX and where I am now, all the tweaking, trial and error, loading untold numbers of add on sceneries to arrive at a stable, smooth running sim precludes even thinking about converting to P3D and its issues and problems. I have a great sim now and great procedures, no CTDs, no OOMs, just flying. With what I have now with bizjets and airliners I can go on indefinitely until I have a hardware problem that pushes me to Win10. But I do have a hole which the 767 fills nicely but the version I have is just not up to par with the CS757, or any other stuff. I can't understand how CS could just throw the whole FSX 767 customers over the side, or under the bus. Sad

Come on CS, don't leave us out in the dark, some insight towards a possible 767 development would be much appreciated.

Thanks!

Dont count on a port for the 767 or any FSX only aircraft. It's very difficult to port an FSX only aircraft. Has to be completely reprogrammed. I think it's very possible they're working on a new 767. Hopefully this time with a 400. I wouldnt be surprised if they also have a new 727 in the works. Hell they may be remaking the 707 too. They've been so quiet. The 707 port has been "in progress" for almost a year. CS tends to release teasers on their facebook page before new projects are announced.
