Can't enable autopilot (Read 964 times)

	Took off on a flight and when I went to put the MCP in command mode, the buttons had no effect. The click spots were working but the a/p did not activate. I had no errors or warning. Everything else was functioning as expected just no autopilot. I suspect it might be something I forgot but can't seem to see what. Is there something I missed or could it just be an aircraft initialization issue. This is using HF3. Thanx, Vic

	I don't have the plane yet but I'm guessing you didn't program the FMC. The autopilot won't know what to do if you don't so it doesn't engage.

	I had programmed the flight but it's possible I made a mistake. I'll try the flight again. Never had the problem with this a/c before but I was rushing a bit. Thanx, Vic
