Cabin Lights
Jun 12th, 2018 at 9:13am

I noticed that during the day i can't turn on lights in cabin (only "Dome" is working) - even when it's evening. But at some "magic hour" all textures in cockpit immediatly changing to the darker one and then lights work. Maybe it is possible that the light can be turned on/off all day, and not only at night and thus get rid of the moment when the textures in the cockpit suddenly change during late evening(it does not look very good).

Sorry but i'm not convinced  Huh. I just try the new version 1.5 and there is still a "magic" hour, when textures in the cockpit suddenly change their color in just 1 sec.

Yes, it's a sim's switch from day to night. But I'd start with turning lights ON well before the darkess hit you hard.

Are You planning to change that it near future together with the ability, to use the backlight in cabin that can be turned on at any time of the day ? I'm owner of the other developers aircraft's and i never notice that change, and i can use backlight whenever i want.

The 777 already has it, and all further products will. Not sure about the 757 III tho.

What a coincidence! I just registered in the forums to post about this and found this post.

Today i was doing a flight in the afternoon and when it became a bit darker i wanted to use the backlit (NOT the dome lights.. only the backlit) and nothing. Then suddenly at some magic point BANG, everything changed.

Come on guys, fix this. Even carenado planes have this implemented by now. You can implement it using reallight from tfdi just like you implemented TrueGlass.

As it is right now it feels lazy, as if this was a plane from FS2004. Come on guys, i know you can do better.

The plane is really god. Dont get lazy on the last mile.  Sad

I am sorry to say that, but your behavior on this topic is really disappointing, especially since the 757 III is one of your latest released models.

1. Reallight got nothing to do with backlight. Spotlights only.
2. As for the spotlights, the 757 has them without any third party addon.

Yes we can and we will. But:
1. It's not about laziness it's about technology. The 757 vc lighting is based on 6 years old technology beasuse its production started 6 years ago.
2. We have already upgraded the 757 with modern 3D spotlights. That's all we can do without major vc rebuild.
3. Eventually will do that major vc rebuild in the 757 IV. Not soon, nor free.
4. The issue itself is cosmetic, it does not affect product usability at all.

The 757 is not the latest. The 777 is newer and has more advanced vc lighting.
