My suggestion: configure the transponder so that switching to TA/RA activates mode Charlie, mainly for flying online.

For examle... when flying online on IVAO, you must turn on the mode C in IVAP (the online pilot client). When turning on the mode C in the 757, it does not automatic turn on the mode C in IVAP.

The squawkcode put in the 757 does come along with IVAP.

How do you turn on the mode C in the 757?

Hi all,

I have fixed this in my lua module for LINDA. I have written code so you can switch it on and off with an assigned button on your joystick/device (whatever you desire). I really want to release it, but I'm waiting for some of the other data including MCP controls.

I have also sorted out AP/AT and disengage options so it makes it easier for us all.

If I can just get the data for the MCP, I can pretty much release the whole thing as soon as possible.

Many thanks,

Pete

By selecting the transponder in XPNDR, TA or TA/RA mode.

Does it work?

Any news?
It would be great if IVAP was automatically changed to C mode when TA / RA is selected on the plane

Well, that's a third party software compatibility thing. But unfortunately we do not use IVAP (nor any other VA client) so we have no idea what we supposed to change in the 757 to make it work a certain way with IVAP.

This has something to do with .lua script and FSUIPC (https://www.ivao.aero/softdev/IvAp/fsuipc_sdk.asp) because there was also problem few years ago with A320 from Aerosoft (http://forum.aerosoft.com/index.php?/topic/96420-ivaovatsim-transponder-mode-int...)
For example Majestic Dash and other have this implemented into their planes. When i switch transponder to TA/RA in the aircraft, this will change automatically in IVAP transponder into charlie mode.

Give us the exact tech specs and we'll see what we'd do.
