V Pilot
Ultimate Traffic Live
Captain Sim 757 (latest version)

From the list and the atc.dll crash sounds like V Pilot compatibility issue. Try to turn it off.

Hi,

Thanks for the response. I can confirm the second flight I did was without V Pilot open.

Do you have any further ideas?

Thanks,

Jonathan

Hello,

I've just re-created the same flight with the 757 and still received a Crash to Desktop about 15 minutes in. I can confirm I did not have V Pilot open and nothing has appeared in Windows Event Viewer other than the below message around the time the CTD happened:

DllHost (13948,G,0) The beta feature EseDiskFlushConsistency is enabled in ESENT due to the beta site mode settings 0x800000.

I had no problems until I updated to your first and second hot fixes. Presently the aircraft is unflyable for me.

Can you confirm my issue is being looked into? It was an expensive price to pay for an aircraft you can't fly for more than 10 minutes.

Thanks for your time,

Jonathan.

Yes.
Have you upgraded to the P3D 4.2?

Hello,

Yes I am updated to Prepar3D V4.2. I just can’t understand what’s happening, it seems to be after the first update you pushed out for the 757 as I updated both of the Hotfixes at the same time and and then tried removing the most current one and both times had a CTD.

Hope this helps, thanks.

Jonathan.

I am experiencing constant CTD's after approx. 10 minutes during the climb and nearing cruise:

"Prepar3D (5408,G,50) The beta feature EseDiskFlushConsistency is enabled in ESENT due to the beta site mode settings 0x800000"

W10 Home 1709
i7 6700K@4.00Ghz

P3D V4.2
CTD (same whether ORBX, airports, and ASP4 are on or off)

Recently ordered the CS757 III, the one that came out for P3Dv4.
Today I finally got the link to install it, so I did, including hotfix#2.
Alongside I use Activesky for P3Dv4 and Chaseplane

Loaded up a flight from EHAM to BIKF (Amsterdam-Keflavik)
But somewhere 2 times in a row I get a CTD between the waypoints CUTEL and RIVOT, on the airac included with the installment of the aircraft, while I am flying on FL340.
Changing the flightlevel didn't change anything. I have yet to try if the CTD happens on a different route.

I have looked through the content error file but I can't find anything related. I have linked it regardless just in case.

EDIT#1
So I loaded a different flightplan and that didn't cause a crash to desktop.
I also tried a different aircraft on the route I had the CTD and with that aircraft I had no CTD.
Could it be that it's AIRAC deliverd with the 757 that is causing the CTD?

Hello,

Just to update, I tried a different flight between Banjul & Manchester and aircraft behaved normally with no CTD. It was very strange how it happened on the Linate to Funchal route.

Thanks,

Jonathan.

Hello after 4 or 5 flights with a new nvidia driver all of my flights CTD  but right after the update it works. How does this even make sense? Crashes on taxi out.

Roll Eyes  I too am experiencing CTD's  event viewer log; The application-specific permission settings do not grant Local Activation permission for the COM Server application with CLSID
{D63B10C5-BB46-4990-A94F-E40B9D520160}
and APPID
{9CA88EE3-ACB7-47C8-AFC4-AB702511C276}
to the user NT AUTHORITY\NETWORK SERVICE SID (S-1-5-20) from address LocalHost (Using LRPC) running in the application container Unavailable SID (Unavailable). This security permission can be modified using the Component Services administrative tool.

Has anyone resolved this issue yet.
Mike.

Still trying to flly 757 beyond FL150,  Windows Powershell came up with this;
Engine state is changed from Available to Stopped.

Details:
     NewEngineState=Stopped
     PreviousEngineState=Available

     SequenceNumber=15

     HostName=ConsoleHost
     HostVersion=5.1.16299.98
     HostId=1afb8023-ca87-4972-a0a6-966ed2dea3ad
     HostApplication=C:\WINDOWS\System32\WindowsPowerShell\v1.0\powershell Get-AppxProvisionedPackage -Online | Where-Object DisplayName -In "C27EB4BA.DropboxOEM" | Remove-ProvisionedAppxPackage -Online
     EngineVersion=5.1.16299.98
     RunspaceId=369d3850-3a6c-4f2b-b3fa-e8ded548ee4e
     PipelineId=
     CommandName=
     CommandType=
     ScriptName=
     CommandPath=
     CommandLine=

Dont know what it means other than the computer stopped, CTD, really fast.
Would appreciate any help.
This flight I had APU running for 1 hour prior to preflight and programming CDU,  to ensure IRS  alignment.

Mike. Huh

Like FFSX  using a generic aircraft first seems to help.
Also turn off and reset IRS switches after initial loading of 757.
CDU Init Pos needs to show blank squares on lower right hand corner for initialization to occur.
Now I can complete full IFR flights with FMC control, yeah
