Guys. I just thought of something. Maybe the reason the 767 and 727 arent on the list is because CS is making new ones. It's not unheard of. They remade the 757. That would explain why the 727 and 767 aren't on there despite a crapton of people asking for them. After all those are 2 gaps in the market. It would make more sense to remake them with more possibilities in P3D4 than to port them. The 727 hasn't been done at all that I know of. Neither has the 767. So it would make sense to capitalize on that by remaking them.

Well, if they do make a brand-new 64-bit 727, I hope they make the flight director work properly.

I really really wish we can see the 727 for v4 eventually down the road but until then how is the 707 coming along? Any previews that can be shown or some updates regarding the status? Thanks Captain Sim!

I'm sure if a 727 is released for P3Dv4 it will be a completely new aircraft from the ground up. The current model is showing it's age and there are a few things that need to be improved visually and with the systems.

Are you guys planning to implement more stuff on the 707? Maybe a KC-135 or such? I assume you will have the same expansions as FSX.

The reason the 707 is taking so long is probably because the 707 never had a P3D version. Its not easy to port an FSX only aircraft to P3Dv4. The coding is entirely different. I believe you have to recode the entire aircraft for it to work. From what I've heard P3Dv3-->P3Dv4 is fairly easy but FSX-->P3Dv4 is very difficult.

Interesting point. Nevertheless, I guess transition from 32bit to 64bit is very time consuming. Less if predecessor is FSX or P3Dv3.

I would love to see the 707 with expansion packs that incorporate the 707-100, 720 and the 400 with the RR  engines and a proper INS usable in the VC like the Aerosoft DC-8. Cheesy Cheesy Cheesy Cheesy

The 737 Captain family - Released.
The C-130 family - Released.
The 777 Captain II family - Released.
The 1011 Captain II family - Released.

#1 is the 707.
Status: in progress.

We'll update this list as we go.
The list is CURRENT so please do not ask if there's any news.

Looking forward to the 707 in p3dv4 (and eventually v5 I hope).

Thanks for keeping the older jetliners alive. Smiley
