Could be very usefull to specify what version of P3D4 will the B777 be compatible with, and with this avoid mistakes, such as the one I made, by buying the B777-200 that specifies to be compatible with P3D and once installed in P3Dv4.3 loads without landing gears and all instruments in the VC completly black, and it sure is frustating to say the least having paid about $60 for it.

FSPilotShop only show it's for P3Dv2, P3Dv3, and that they aren't sure if it's compatible with P3Dv4 (see attached image).

Not to talk about the 777, I have missed that since moving to P3Dv4.

I hope that if the 707 gets an upgrade it will also feature a virtual FE feature to make it easier on long haul flights to manage the fuel. Also, maybe a bit of a modern option for digital TCAS and a basic Bendix GPS that can import flightplans and load SIDS/STARS etc. This way you get a bit of the old and the new if you want it.

I just need & want my following Aircraft to work in Prepar 3D V4.4

Lockheed L-1011
Boeing 707
Boeing 727
Boeing 737's

that is until Lockheed Martin comes out with yet another Prepar 3D V.7.9 ,,,, then what ?????
Wonder how long the Flight Sim community will continue to JUMP thru all these needless hoops and "Expense" before it dies out more than it already has, compared to what it used to be ???????
Spending thousands of Dollars for New Computers, and Thousands of more dollars for New Hardware and Hundreds of Hundreds of Dollars for New Aircraft or to have to "Re'Purchase" Aircraft we already have most of us, will make a lot of Sim Pilots take a step back and go Whoooaaa ~ is all this really worth it, every few years ???
I know I myself in that exact situation right now, at my age, I'm NOT going to keep this "Merry Go Round" up every 4 to 5 years and still be able to retire.
Seriously, whats next down the road after lotta these Aircraft get updated to PREPAR V4.4 ????
Wonder what we'll have to Jump thru in 3 to 5 years when they roll out say,,,, Prepar V.7.9 or something ??
That or Microsoft will throw out a Newer operating System that will KILL what we currently have in Flight Simming.
I can't keep this up,,,, and neither can a lot of Flight Simulator Hobby Pilots, rather they wanna admit it or not.
Thanks Captain Sim for for some really Super Great Aircraft for many of us to experirnce thru the years, like the 707 & 727 !!!
Feel free to leave feed back & comments & opinions !!!

Thanks. Smiley I'm really looking forward to getting them for P3D v4. Grin

I have it in a boxed CD/DVD, C-130X. Can I upgrade it to P3DV4?

If you follow the instuctions in my post HERE, you can use the C130 X-perience in P3Dv4.

I copied all the files from FSX to P3Dv4 and that worked for me. I'm not sure if you can install the C130 X directly into P3Dv4, but it could be possible as there is an fsx.exe file in the root P3Dv4 folder, and the installer will see it and, hopefully, believe it is FSX.

I cannot wait for the 707 to come out for P3D V4, it will be a great expansion to the simulator.

I guess we're never seeing the 727 in P3D4. That's sad. It was my favorite CS addon for FSX. But I'm so happy that the 707 is next. I love that plane. Hoping it'll be good. I just hope we dont have to wait a year to get it like with the 777.
