Transponder not working

Not sure why my transponder doesn't work. Is the Ident button suppose to work, or are you just suppose to set it to the given transponder number and it suppose to be picked up by ATC?

I hope someone from Captain Sim can help answer my question. If it's any help, I have the base 757-200, and the expansion model 757-300, version 4.6. I know back in the days of FS9, the transponder worked just fine, but I'm talking almost 10 years ago. I know many folks have moved on to QualityWings, but I've stood with Captain Sim's model because the aircraft has a more rustic and real look to it than QualityWings. Just give me my transponder!

-I just did a test with the CS777-200 CS757-200, and the TCAS is working for me. When acknowledging the transponder code, it was automatically entered into the transponder for me. It also worked when I entered the transponder code manually. I'm also seeing traffic on the HSI map display.

EDIT Jul 22nd, 2016 at 1:59am: Corrected the aircraft I was testing! Shocked

Hi Mark, that may be the case with your 777, but I'm talking about the 757.

Sorry. 777-200 was a typo. I had actually just finished testing the 757-200 at the time I wrote my reply. I've just been helping people troubleshoot problems with the CS777 a lot more than the CS757 lately, so I guess 777 was  stuck in my mind. Sad
