I'd be curious about this as well... does the 1.7 P3D version have the needed fixes included or what should we add?

Thanks all

Steve

I do not own P3D so I couldn't test it out.

You could try and install following the installation instructions while paying close attention to where the \SimObjects\Airplanes\CS_B737-200\panel\ folder is located.

If anyone else has had successes installing the V-One gauge in P3D, please let us know  Wink

I believe the battery charging issue was corrected in v1.6, v1.7 was released mainly for P3D installation.

The P3D v1.7 has the same fixes as the FSX v1.7, so there should not be a problem with the battery, like what happened before.

I must admit that I have not tried the V-One gauge in P3D, but the V-One gauge for the 727 (which is now included as a part of the installation of the 727) works in P3D, so I can't see why the 737 one wouldn't.

Just the topic I was looking for.  Flew the 732 in P3D last night for the first time and felt like I was missing something.  It was this gauge.

I will install and check it out, but like stated above I don't see why it wouldn't work.

I have the same problem.

I have changed this to read Prepar3d instead of fsx

gaugeXX=dsd_fsx_xml_sound!Sound,2,2,2,2,.\SimObjects\Airplanes\CS_B737-200\panel
\V-One\V-One_Sound.ini
gaugeXX=dsd_fsx_xml_sound!Debugger, 420,550,600,80

and put the sound files direct into the sounds folder and changed this to read prepar3d
\Gauges
dsd_fsx_xml_sound.gau

but non of these changes made any difference.

Any ideas ?

Steve

You might not be hearing the sounds because the dsd_fsx_xml_sound.gau isn't (I'm not sure if it is, or isn't) compatible with P3D. Sad

There is a newer sound module from Douglas Dawson.

It's at http://www.douglassdawson.ca/

Open the ZIP file and place dsd_fsx_xml_sound.gau in your gauges folder overwriting the previous version.

  Cheesy

Yeehaaaa, a drink for this brave man!!

Now, it's working! And it's easier to ignore all the small flaws of P3D with a copilot nect to me in my CS 737  Smiley

Thank you!

Matthias
