Forgive my question, is there an upgrade price for FSX users to P3Dv3. Would like to have the B737 back, purchased all 5 versions for FSX. Now its time to move up.

Ok then. No answer I guessing means full price again. Yeah, not going to happen.

You are right, there is no upgrade price for customers who bought P3D v2.x, who wish to buy P3Dv3. If you want P3Dv3, you have to buy it for the full price.

Thanks for the reply Markoz. That's just NOT going to happen, years for updates and now to pay again. Take care Markoz, Capatin Sim should be paying you to be here.

You will need to buy P3D version of Base Pack. All Expansion Models are available for their FSX users for free, just redownload the latest versions.

Marvic,

In my opinion it was worth the price, B737/B727/B777 work great in P3D V3. I still have FSX, but rarely fly it anymore. P3D V3 is that much better, and over the next year I will re-purchase many more aircraft for P3D. When I look at the price I pay for aircraft/scenery/airports to amount of enjoyment I get, it is still a very cost effective hobby. I do not mind keeping developers like Captain Sim in positive cash flow, because they will take that money and make new and fantastic planes. Anyways have a great holiday season and a happy new year. Bob

Can anyone tell me what the revised release date for 777 1.7 is?

I bought it back in October on the premise that 1.7 (p3d V3 compatible version) would be ready by the end of November. Having dumped £40 on the product I was really looking forwards to the end of November to get to grips with it. Sadly November and then December have come and gone and still no sign of 1.7. The thread that indicated the dates for the release has scince been removed.

Im really keen to have a go with the purchase I made back in October. If 1.7 is not going to be a thing anymore could I please get a refund as I bought the product specifically on the premise that it would be available in November as I discussed on the forums.

@disgruntled.

We have never promised that the 1.7 will be released in November in any case. We are really working hard to release it as soon as possible. Our apologies for the delay.

Thank you for the reply. I have more money waiting to be taken.(i am very interested in the other projects such as L1011 and the 767) But I am judging the Captain sim developer team based apon this product.

Again sorry for putting pressure on you but I have spent my money ...

Again thankyou for all the hard work and I mean no insult. Just kinda itching to play with my new toy like a kid at Christmas.

God bless.

Could you explain a bit more?

I own the 767 Base & K-767 Tanker exp., C-130 Pro, B-52...are the additional 767 expansions free?

The Base Pack for aircraft for P3D are the full price, regardless of whether you own the FSX Base Pack. However, the Expansion Models are suitable for FSX, and P3D.

This is how it currently works using the 727 as an example:
You already bought the 727-100 Base Pack, the 727-200 Expansion Model, and the 727 Freighter Model for FSX.
Now you want to switch to P3D.
You will have to buy the 727-100 Base Pack P3D version, but not the Expansion Models.
With the latest updates, the Expansion Models can be installed in FSX, FSX-SE, and P3D.

NO! You still need to buy any Expansion Models that you don't already own.
