Just wondering how everyone is finding their SP1.6 experience with the 737?

Cheers,

It works fine for me.  It is definitely much better with Paul's V-One gauge.

I still have really no idea how to use the PCDS other than getting takeoff EPR from it, lol.  Even after the update, if I mess around with it, it crashes.

But it looks and sounds amazing, and it is really fun to fly.   I like the 727 a little better, but I very much enjoy the 737.

Version 1.6 is working fine for me.  I am also using Paul's V-One gauge, which is very nice.  Had a brief problem when first installing because Deep Guard, which is part of my Charter Security Suite, wanted to prevent ACE for the 737 from installing, but was able to override this.  Very happy with V 1.6.   Smiley Wink

David, don't forget at the beginning to press the Load (button number 1) button first and enter at least the OAT and ZFW. If you do that, you should get the climb, cruise etc EPR's  Smiley

Personally, I think CS did a great job with 1.6, was certainly worth all of that waiting.

Nathan.

Thanks Nathan, I'll try that.   I usually just set climb power at about 89-90 percent N1 and keep adjusting it as necessary, while watching the V-One gauge MCT reading and staying below that by a little bit.   But an EPR value would be nice!

The PDCS no longer crashes for me since the 1.6 update, so that's great. Grin

I don't use Paul's V-One gauge, so I use my 737 Captain without mods. I have nothing against Paul's V-One gauge, I just don't feel the need use it. Wink

Everytime I try to use the PCDS it will give me unreasonably low cruise speeds like .68 mach. I am unsure of how to update it.

I still cannot reliably get the FD to work either. It just stays orange and will never lock on a VOR even though the AP system will fly said VOR.
