I think I've used it before, but I don't think it gave me the SIDS and STARS, I still had to find them using charts and some charts are hard to find.

The best one - free on line, drag/drop routes, links to airports/all IFR SIDs & STARS etc.

Play with it a little and fall in love!

Isn't PFPX suppose to support CS 777? to export plans to the Fmc?or are they still working on it. Sad

It works, but not 100%, as I said in my reply here: http://captainsim.org/yabb2/YaBB.pl?num=1362052523/123#123.

I don't know if they are still working on it. For that answer, you'll have to ask the devs themselves. Wink

I no idea on how to do the templates, but seeing as I only use the flight planning part of PFPX, and nothing else, then it not having templates is not a problem for me. Undecided

That also applies to PFPX flight plans. In fact any flight planner program tha saves a flight plan in *FSX Flight Planner format is capable of being loaded into the CS777 (and 757/767) CDU/FMC. But you still need to enter the departure runway (SID) and the arrival runway (STAR/TRANS). Wink

*FlightSimCommander X does not save in FSX Flight Planner format, but saves in FS9 (FS2004) Flight Planner format, so it cannot be loaded into the 777 CDU/FMC!

Just be aware that the latest version of Flight Sim Commander 9 is v9.5.1, not FSC X v8.6 (FSCX came before FSC9), and it does save the flight plans in the FSX Flight Planner format! I use it a lot for creating flight plans for the CS L-1011, where a SID/STAR is not required for their INS (although I often add them manually in FSC9.5.1).

Yep I use FSC9 and it works perfectly. (It even has a fs2004 version free)

I refuse to use (or buy) PFPX while they continue to ignore tier one addon developers.
Certain companies are attempting to monopolise FSX.

Flight Sim Commander 9.5 Saves as .PLN, while Professional Flight Planner X saves in both .PLN and .RT.
In all honesty, FSC9.5 is better as the PFPX .RT files are NOT perfect, but PFPX has a neat feature for flight planning that allows me to find the next jet airway I need for my flight the plan!
I feel that the PFPX devs only did a half hearted job on the .RT save format. Sad

Hi everyone,
Have same problem as Zedenek.I downloaded CoPilot pro thinking I could use it fully with all aircraft including cs aircraft but not so.
I want to create flightplan automaticly and then have the aircraft automaticly follow the flightplan. The copilot pro does this, but only with fsx default aircraft and not cs add ons. I contacted fs commander but they said their flight plan format did not support cs aircraft, only PGMD and a few others. If anyone knows a flight planner that works well for cs aircaft plz let me know.

Create your flight with CoPilot Pro and save the flight plan as an FS Flight Planner plan (.PLN). My advise is to open it in the FSX Flight Planner and save it again because I think CoPilot Pro saves in the old FS9 Flight Planner format (I should install my copy to verify that) and the CS777 CDU only loads the FSX Flight Planner format! Once you have saved it with the FSX Flight Planner, open the CS777 CDU, and on the RTE page, select SEND > FLTSIM FPLS, and a list of all the Flight Plans available (at least 178 pages worth, because that's how many I have) shows up. Find your flight plan, and select it (selecting it will load it). You pretty sure you need to add a DEP runway and an ARR runway for VNAV to be able work correctly!

I hope this helps
