ACED

After several uninstalling, reinstalling and reinstalling P3D,

I have an ACES icon but no content. Undecided

all my work has been with AV and Windows Defender turned off.

What could be preventing its full installation?

Can I download ACES independently and install?

I take it that it worked in the previous version?

I did try CS777 for FSX in P3D but it never really functioned.  Nor did ACES.

So this is pretty well a vanilla installation.

I can however get the weight and fuel setup through the default menu.

Magnified portion of airspeed indicator greatly at odds with the tape.

Planned Langley to Seattle, looked great, tracking well.  But after about four hours CTD - I guess an OOM.

Try setting your text size to Smaller (default) in the Control Panel > Display.
Using larger text size results in the problems you are seeing with the airspeed on the speed tape. It might also be causing your problem with the ACE.

The ACE for the 777 for FSX will not work in P3D. The ACE for the 777 for P3D will not work in FSX. I never got the ACE working in the 777 for FSX when I had it installed in P3D. The same applies to all the ACE's in CS aircraft for FSX being used in P3D.

Many thanks Mark, the font fix worked well with the speed tape.

However ACES still fails to come up, except for that minute text line.

I have downloaded twice, and unistalled almost every time before attempting a fresh installation.

I am sure the problem must lie in my computer, but, I turn AV and Defender off before installing but to no avail.

I have no other version of CS installed, so the
ACED that I have is the native PVD version from the installer.

Has anyone else complained of a similar problem?

I have uninstalled and reinstalled CS777 in P3Dv2.3

Icon size is smallest, so tapes reading correctly.

But ACES still only opens to a task bar mini-screen with a minute box and unreadable text.

Is it possible to be told what .dll or other settings are crucial, or even to download a fresh version of ACES.

My latest install came from a fresh download, with AV and Defender off. I am still without a functioning ACES.

Try using Estonia Migration Tool explore feature to make Aces work after enabling Cheesy
