Nav/Rad fmc ils frequencies

Hi:

I am on departure runway - I imported flt pln and the morse code beep is on - when I go to the Nav/Rad section in fmc I can not delete or replace the code - it has the departure runway code in there hence the beep - what switch turns off the beep as I tried many radio panel switches - also I would assume if I could change it in the fmc it would stop but  I can not enter the runway arrival ils/course into the fmc - invalid entry every way I have tried to enter proper ils/crs - any help would be much appreciated

I am using P3D 1.4 Version CS777

Regards, Rich

Are you using the 777 for P3D or FSX?

If you are using the 777 for P3D, I'm not sure that it is fully compatible with P3D v1.4.

P3D v1.4 is more like FSX, whereas P3D v2.2 is quite different to both FSX & P3D v1.4. Sad

How to got the ILS FREQ/HDG to be entered automatically on the NAV/RAD page of the CDU:

1) Load the route - RTE (RTE 1) > SEND > FLTSIM FPLS > KBOSKPVD06
2) ACTIVATE > EXEC
3) DEP/ARR > KPVD ARR > ILS05
4) EXEC

Once I did that, when I checked the NAV/RAD page, I saw:

ILS MLS
109.30/048PARK

NOTE. After selecting ILS05, and after pressing EXEC, I had to fix the Route Discontinuance. I select the waypoint KENTE (directly below the Route Discontinuance) and pasted it over the KENTE waypoint that had loaded with the route, then press EXEC again. The ILS FREQ/HDG remained 109.30/048PARK, so I was good to go.

Hi Mark - thanks for going thru it for me I found out at avsim that you can just place 109.3/046 into parked position in fmc and its done - but what you did to re-enter arr airport was good learning - now future reference is there a switch to turn of loc morse code beep like in 737s'

Hopefully I can figure out why the loc throws aircraft of course - in our other thread - thanks buddy
