VNAV path pointer

hello,

in manual 2 the VNAV path pointer during descent is described. But during my descents I can't see any pointer just like I do in other planes. Is it absent and will be given to a later servicepack or do I have to config the FMC in a special way to see the pointer?

Seems like it wouldn't be implemented, very sad!
