Cyprus Airways repaint for FSX

Dear Friends, i wish to have a cyprus airways repaint for the 707 and there is one available but for FS2004. Is there a way to convert these textures to the FSX textures used in the FSX 707?

You don't need to convert anything.

1. I extracted the files from the cyprus82ek folder in the RAR, to a folder I named texture.cyprus in the FSX\SimObjects\Airplanes\CS_B707-300 folder.

2. I copy & pasted an [fltsim.xx] entry in the aircraft.cfg and changed it so it looked like this:

[fltsim.XX] //XX must be changed to the next consectutive number. In my case it was [fltsim.16]
title=CS_B707-300 Paint XX // Change this to match the [fltsim.XX] value. In my case Paint 16
sim=csx701
model=adv
panel=
sound=
texture=cyprus
kb_checklists=
kb_reference=
atc_id=5B-DAL
atc_airline=Cyprus
atc_flight_number=701
atc_heavy=
atc_parking_types=GATE,RAMP
ui_manufacturer=Boeing
ui_type=707-320B ADV
ui_variation=Cyprus Airways
ui_typerole=Commercial Airliner
ui_createdby=Captain Sim

3. I copied the texture.cfg from the default AA (texture.aa folder) livery and pasted it in the texture.cyprus folder. Without the texture.cfg, the VC/Cabin will be black!

4. I renamed the cyprus82.jpg (in the texture.cyprus folder) to thumbnail.jpg

Started FSX. Loaded the 707 Cyprus Airways livery. I see this:

You're welcome. Wink

In the early days after the release of the 707, a lot of us were asking about repaints/liveries. Captain Sim said that the textures for the 'Legendary 707' were compatible with the '707 Captain'. So it was just a matter of adding then manually, well for me it is, than creating a DESCRIPTION.TXT to use with the ACE.
