Autopilot Button/Key Assignments

Hello all,

I have a registered version of FSUIPC on FSX.

I can link the autopilot master switch, heading selector and heading mode dial to switches on my yoke.
I can also assign a button to the altitude hold switch, however, when I use the yoke button to select altitude hold, the switch moves, but it doesn't actually engage.
If I do it via mouse click, it works. Cheesy

Any ideas why? (Incidentally, FSUIPC's mouse macro won't work either)  Undecided
Thanks in advance,

Paul

Hello Paul,
I remember during the Customer Involvement Programm some guys reported this problem. What I ignore is if Captain Sim included this in their To-Do list. I tried to locate the list on the CS site but couldn't find it. Hopefully someone else knows more about this issue.
brgds, Lex

Hi chaps,

Never mind. I suppose it's something I'll have to work round, it's just a mystery that the A/P master and HDG switch work but not the ALT Hold.

I put a ticket in but haven't heard anything yet.
