Flightsim Commander 9 weirdness

Hi chaps.

I'm using FSC 9.2 to generate routes and I've never had an issue until now.
The reason I'm posting here is I'm wondering if someone else is using FSC they could attempt to generate a route from the west coast usa to Hawaii usa.
I've tried KSEA to PHNL and ended up with a strange route up over Canada, into Russia I think and then dowen through the pacific islands. All up these routes are ~10,000nm long. It doesn't matter if I depart from KSEA, KSFO, KLAX etc, they all generate these wild routes.

So can someone else try it for me to see if they get these same weird outcomes?

Thanks.

EDIT:
This is an example of what's happening. As you can see I've even tried reversing it to PHNL-KSFO with still these unexpected outcomes.

Hi.

You look like you have used the link to Routefinder (free) to give you a flight plan, and this is the entire page you would have got:

You won't be able to use that route (like you say) because it heads you to ASIA, then back to the USA (further north at that). It is partly a fault with Routfinder (it wants connecting airways, and also partly a fault with FSC 9.x,which will place some of the fixes (if there are more than one fixes with the same name) away from the route. The best bet is to click on a waypoint at the beginning of every jetway along a lint from PHNL to KSFO. I normally look for a SID that gets me headed in the right direction, followed by a STAR that gets me to my arrival airport, the find the jetways between them. In the route that you are wanting to do, I did this one:

PHNL SID CLUTS R465 CINNY  KSFO

A SID that gets you from PHNL to CLUTS is MKK.CLUTS. There is no direct STAR from way out there that gets you to KSFO. So I would fly direct to one of the approaches for KSFO. Say you are landing on runway 28L or 28R, I would select the ISO transition for 28R.

So my route would be this:

PHNL MKK.CLUTS R465 CINNY ILS28L with ISO Transition (no STAR).

Note: FSC has been updated to v9.3 (with Hot Fix 1). You can get it from another company (you might need to register your FSC 9 with them first). To register, Select the product (another company - FlightSim Commander 9), and enter your serial number and email address (that you used when you purchased it).

Thanks Mark.

So I'm not going crazy.

Yeah I saw that 9.3 is out, I will delete 9.2 and download it.

Yeah. FSC9 does have some problems, but I still think it's a very good flight planner. Wink
