I am also very interested in a 2-D Panel. I know that's not popular on this board but it my preference. I tried a 2-D I downloaded from Flightsim.com and the landing gear disappeared. Has anyone had success in using a 2-D panel with the CS 737 ?
Make sure you include these three lines are included in the panel.cfg:
gauge
XX=Captain_Sim.x737.sys!main,0,0,1,1
gauge
XX=Captain_Sim.x737.sys2!main,1,1,1,1
gauge
XX=Captain_Sim.x737.sound!main, 1,0,1,1, Captain_Sim\737\sound.ini
Ad the under [Window00] and rename gauge
XX to the next concurrent number in the list. For example, if the last gauge before those lines is gauge20=XXXXX!XXXX, etc...., then you add them like this:
gauge20=XXXXX!XXXX, etc....
gauge
21=Captain_Sim.x737.sys!main,0,0,1,1
gauge
22=Captain_Sim.x737.sys2!main,1,1,1,1
gauge
23=Captain_Sim.x737.sound!main, 1,0,1,1, Captain_Sim\737\sound.ini
This will make so that the landing gear will be able to be seen.
