CS767 stab trim indicator

I'm configuring my aircraft for takeoff and I'm a little confused on which trim indicator to use.  The display shows 0.0 at the top, so I set it to 0.5 (req) based on that.  However, FSX interprets that as -9.5.  See attached image.  Which indicator is correct - the VC, or the FSX tooltip?  I've noticed that when the trim is set to 0.5 according to the VC display, I get the TO config warning horn, whereas when I set it by FSX's tooltip, the aircraft tends to be very tail-heavy.

Well, as I recall, if the plane is properly loaded center of the green band would be the place to be.

My guess is the tool tips might be reading incorrectly.  Sad

This cannot be a common problem, or I would have seen reports of it elsewhere, and there would have been a patch announcement/release concerning it.  What could be causing the disconnect?

When I start the 767 in FSX, the Trim is set at 4 (in the middle). For the takeoff, I never move it.

So I use the following in the 767 for every flight:

CG = 30
Trim Tab = 4

And it performs very well.
