Pretty sure from what I'm hearing is that the payload stuff is handled via the in-game loader

The answer is no.

On page 38 of the ‘777 Captain’ FLIGHT MANUAL Part I – User’s Manual (csx777_manual1.pdf), it explains how to change the weight of the ULD's and how to load them for the 777 Freighter. It is different to how you do it in the other CS aircraft and I love it.

It's a pity that whatever weight you select for the ULD's, it is the weight of all the ULD's that size.
i.e. If you change the small ULD weight from 2000 pounds to 2500 pounds, they are ALL 2500 pounds. Same applies to the large ULD's. Undecided

Another question re ACE: My 777F does not show up in the Pre flight mode. Any reason for this or have I done something wrong? For that matter I can't seem to locate the animated loader either. Sorry I bought it yesterday and am still finding my way around.

No problems your end. With the Load Manager 2D panels in FSX, you can change the ULD weights as well as using them to load the ULD's. See ‘777 Captain’ FLIGHT MANUAL Part I – User’s Manual (csx777_manual1.pdf) pages 38 & 39, latest version, for the full details.

Also why does GSX only have one ULD cart for the 777LR even though I changed the weight? I didn't ask over there because this old dude that hangs over there is a jerk Undecided

Luckily I don't hang around the GSX forum, or I might think you were talking about me! Cheesy Grin Wink

Their carts always have a maximum of 3 ULD's on them. You just gotta accept that. Sad

Thanks Mark, Got it and sorted. I was working it like the 757 and 767. Always a good idea to have a look at the manual first. The bosic ops tutorial by ARNZ is also very useful.

I didn't know it was in the manual at first either. I just opened the Loader panel and started loading. It was then that I noticed that it was different. I only read manuals when I get stuck! Shocked

I really love this new way of loading cargo. Smiley My only wish in the way of a change, would be that each ULD could have its own weight, not the current way of change the weight of one and it changes the weight of them all method. Undecided
