When I get into my account in CaptainSim.org, Select Product -> 777 -> GET Free Liveries, shows 11 pages of liveries, but every link is broken or empty, or the files is no longer available at Avsim Library. Could re post this liveries?

Captain Sim says "+100 liveries" yeah, sure there is, but what about, 100+ available for download Liveries Smiley

Indeed, I have the same issue, and ZK0OKP is way out of date, that airframe is currently wearing the Hobbit 1 scheme.

I have tried to make repaints, but I have no clue how to use PS, I'm not sure what to do from here.

I think all of the talented repainters ahve migrated to the another company 777, there appears to be very little activity here, I can't even find a Singapore Airlines 777-300ER.

If anyone has time and enthusiasm, and would like to do some repaints for the CS 777-300ER my wish list is as follows.

Air New Zealand:
ZK-OKR
ZK-OKP
ZK-OKO

Any Singapore Air lines.

From the few I could download, it don't say if it is GE, RR, PW or LR version.

So I tried in each, what always happens, get painted in the engine, tail and bottom, but the body gets black. I filled the aircraft.cfg file correctly, changing everything requested.

I wonder, if someone from Captain Sim could read their own Forum and fix this, take an afternoon, check the links that are broken, remove them, and then find a fix. It's better! Anyone here did, I'm sure they're capable to fix it Smiley

Try copying the texture.cfg from one of the default aircraft for the model you are adding the livery to.

For example:

777-200ER_GE - copy the texture.cfg from the CS_B777-200ER_GE\texture.aa folder
777-200ER_PW - copy the texture.cfg from the CS_B777-200ER_PW\texture.korea folder
777-200ER_RR - copy the texture.cfg from the CS_B777-200ER_RR\texture.malaysia folder
777-200LR - copy the texture.cfg from the CS_B777-200ER_GE\texture.aircan folder

Hope this helps.

Apparently you need to have 10 replies to other posts before you are able to start a new one.

Hello,
Thankyou for that information iam also interested in purchasing the 777 i was wondering if you can use the default fsx flight planner to do your own flights and then transfer them to the 777 fmc and then load it when you start it up.
And also please can you tell me how big is the CS 777 download?
Thankyou so much. Smiley

Hey Berike. It seems they are not maintaining the list of direct links from the CS website any more. Have you used the search feature at avsim? Just do a search for "Captain Sim 777" and you'll find them.

No worries.

I can't tell you how big the download is, I simply don't recall from when I downloaded it.

In regards to flight planning. The short answer is yes, in my experience you should be able to create a flight plan with the  FSX default planner, and then in the FMC you can select the option to load FS flight plans, however, FSX does not give you SIDS and STARS for departures and arrivals, so I have found I need to search the internet for charts of the airports I'm using and then manually enter the SIDS and STARS respectively.

I generally use PFPX or FSC for creating flight plans. PFPX is better in some ways, and it can export to the Captain Sim .rt format (FSC cannot). I don't usually save the flight plans and so I don't load them into the FMC, but I use the info (jet airways and waypoints) from the flight plans and enter them manually in the FMC. Wink
