Promised? Where and when please?

This is all we recall:
1. 20EUR discount.
2. Free -200LR into the base pack (not promised but delivered!).
3. Free updates.

But we've never promised free Expansion models.

In regards to new repaints, you should suggest them in a new thread as the people who do repaints will most likely see them there. CS usually does not do more repaints other than what is included in the package.  Wink

Hey Christos. One of the features of this package is labelled "Passengers". What exactly is this and how does it operate?

Since the exterior model has transparent windows, it is just simply the passengers sitting in the seats when you look through the windows from the outside, which makes it look more realistic than flying long haul flights with empty seats.  Smiley

Have you ever thought that programming and 3D modeling could do different  people?

Captain, could you please elaborate on this: The 777-300 is a visual expansion only; it does NOT feature its own flight dynamics, fuel consumption etc.?!?

Thanks for your clarification!!!

Text is all mine ... Just wondering what this may imply:

I've seen other developers' only visual expansions offered for more than 9.99/14.99 ...

That refers to the complaints "why CS releases exterior expansions instead of fixing the base pack programming"

So, finally, what IS included in the 773 extension pack? Different flight dynamics, different weights and fuel consumption from the base pack? Is it a different variant over all? Or is it a visual extension only?

Thanks again for clarifying ...

Some of their newer repaint kits don't work with Photoshop 7. This was discussed in one of the other forums when it was found that that repaint kit didn't work in Photoshop 7, and it was recommended that people upgrade to a newer version of Photoshop to be able to do repaints.

Hi Guys, just signed up here. I just brought eh 777 and the 300 also and love it.

If there already a paintkit for the 773 so i can start painting or is this in the works..?

Thanks
Rob.

P.s - CS - Keep up the work and development on this bird i love it Cheesy

Check-in to Your Profile > Product (777 Captain (777-200)) > Get Repaint Kits

There is no paint kit for 773 in the profile, 772 only  Sad .
May be CS show us where is pK for 773.

I get you now! The 772 and 773 repaints are in the one kit. Sorry, I misunderstood what you meant. The early repaint kit (with the 772 only) was only ~219MB, with the 773 included in it, it is now ~286MB.

Hope that helps. Wink

How much does the 777-200 cost in dollars?  Huh
Go here: http://www.xe.com/ and convert the Euro into Dollars (or any other currency). I have found XE.com to be the most accurate, unless you pay with Paypal, which use a worse exchange rate (which makes my eldest son very angry and is why I don't use it Wink).

If I understand you correctly, FSX is crashing (CTD) a few seconds after you load the 777 into it.
If that is correct, open the ACE (START > All Programs > Captain Sim > 777 Captain > ACE) and remove the checkmark (tick) in the box next to Automatically check for update when FSX started as shown in the image below.

http://i669.photobucket.com/albums/vv58/Markoz958/777_check_for_update_zpsfdcb6c...

If that does not work, you will need to do it manually. This is done by opening the panel.cfg (found in the FSX\SimObjects\Airplanes\CS_B777-200ER_GE\panel folder) and comment out (add two forward slashes (//) in front of) the line gauge02=Captain_Sim.x777.update!Main, 0, 0,  3, 3 (found in the [Window00] section), so that it looks like this:

[Window00]
file=bg.bmp
background_color=0,0,0
size_mm=1024,768
window_size_ratio=1.00
visible=1
ident=MAIN_PANEL
render_3d_window=0
window_size= 1.000, 1.000
window_pos= 0.000, 0.000
gauge00=Captain_Sim.x777.sys!main, 0,0, 1,1
gauge01=Captain_Sim.x777.sound!main, 0,0,1,1,Captain_Sim\777\sound.ini
//gauge02=Captain_Sim.x777.update!Main, 0, 0,  3, 3
gauge03=Captain_Sim.x777.wxr!main,1,1,1,1
;gauge04=Captain_Sim.x777.touch!main,1,1,1,1,48777

Hope this helps.

What operating system are you using? Vista, Windows 7, or Windows 8/8.1?

Your OS is preventing you from making the changes (probably because FSX is installed in the default location of C:\Program Files (x86)\etc...). In that case it would be better to copy and paste the panel.cfg to you desktop, then make the changes, save, then copy and paste it back in the CS_B777-200ER_GE\panel folder.

If you like, download this file: https://www.dropbox.com/s/byw5vtn18u0e7fv/CS777_modified_panel.zip
In that zip file is the original panel.cfg (renamed panel_original.cfg) and the "fixed" panel.cfg (obviously named panel.cfg).
Extract the contents into FSX\SimObjects\CS_B777-200ER_GE\panel folder and allow the panel.cfg to overwrite the current. The original will be in there to.

If you feel that I really need to view the photo of the problem, just email it to me by clicking on the email button at the bottom left of this reply.

The button looks like this:

Thanks for your help! actually the 777 is working now on the FSX, it's not working before because of I haven't install the acceleration pack CD, So the the plane is missing in the menu. But seems now the second problem, when I after install the acceleration pack, there's no ways that I can use my product key with the acceleration pack and the game supposed I'm play the trial version, after that when I play with the 777 maybe about 20 mins, then the game text me the time limit has expired and need me to activate it to continue. Do you know what is happening?  Embarrassed

I'm using Window 8 with 64 bit  Wink

Thanks much!

All I had to do to activate Acceleration, was enter the serial number and click on Activate.

You need to make sure that you are entering the serial number exactly right, no mistaken letters/numbers. A 0 (zero) can often be mistaken for an O. Undecided

Uninstall Acceleration (not FSX), then reinstall it. See if that helps. If not, uninstall Acceleration again, and install SP2 for FSX

You can download it from here: http://www.microsoft.com/Products/Games/FSInsider/downloads/Pages/FlightSimulato... - You might need to select one of the other language versions instead of the English version.

As far as I know, the -300 and Freighter for P3Dv2 are not released yet. I expect that you will need to purchase them for P3D once they are released. Wink

Already I have the extension 777-300 and now I have seen that it does not bring the cabin passengers , ¿how can do it to have the extension 773 have a cabin passengers?,  Shocked same like the 772.

Is not a problema for me, that use the CS_B777_PAX, but the external model is a 777-300  Roll Eyes

Thanks!!!
