When I saw the new AA livery for the first time, I thought it was a cheap charter airline. Then I realized it was AA and I swore that that livery will never make it on my computer.
How can they possibly change from an iconic livery to something so sub-normal? Well, maybe it shows the situation AA is in better than the old livery that came from glorious times. Cry

It looks good to me.  It is modern, classy and patriotic.  I agree with American Airlines, that the eagle now looks like it is flying and not diving down like a predator.

Lips Sealed Is all I'll say as will also the coms i hear from KSAT and DFW when i fly into there area's to conduct routine DHS Airway patrols. I admit some of the funnies I hear from ATC and United about American's new paint is getting overboard. Personally AA should shelve AA brand and as they own the TWA, bring back TWA brand for a while.

Paint design is a matter of opinion, of course. Personally I have never appreciated the old AA design and I have flown in those for many years. I find the new paint much more interesting. Definitely an improvement. Not to mention that it catches up to the fact that more future planes will be composite.

Definitely would like to see someone make this paint for the CS777.
