Help!

I recently bought the 767 and it all worked fine until I re-installed FSX.

Now though, whenever I load it up the 767 is missing the yoke in VC view and nothing on the overhead panel is clickable. The 767 ACE program that used to appear in the add-ons bar on my fsx menu bar is no longer there. Is this a problem? I have un-installed and re-installed 3 times and nothing. It is really annoying and I can no longer fly the plane!  Cry Please help!

I would guess that something is amiss in your dll.xml file. Possibly a corruption. You may want to look at it manually in notepad and see if one of the delimiters is missing causing it to ignore the entire file.

After checking the dll.xml in notepad everything seems to be fine there, but I don't really know what the file is supposed to look like, so I've uploaded a photo of it:

I'm hoping stuff got clipped in the picture because there should be stuff above the top and below the bottom.

Does FSUIPC work correctly?

Yeah stuff did get clipped, and FSUIPC works fine. I don't tend to use FSUIPC a lot though.

I would try a complete uninstall of the CS 767 and then reinstall

You've said that you've reinstalled FSX. Are we talking about at least FSX SP2? To check, you can click the fsx.exe and post the version number. Should be something beginning with 10.0.xxxx

Your dll.xml entries look correct, so lets assume that the copy protection has locked you out. When you reinstall, are you asked for a code? Did you make sure that it was entered correctly? Mind extra blanks and things, those can mix up the entry and it will install even with a wrong code, but it will never work.

Always run the installer as admin (right click and choosing 'run as administrator') and perhaps disable your antivirus for a moment. Until the installation is finished.

Hey,

I disabled my anti-virus and ran it as an administrator, and still nothing.

I have installed SP2 and my version number is: 10.061472.0

Sorry for answering late, Matt. Well, I should do that more often as I see that you've fixed it by yourself.  Cheesy
