Just a thought on the EFB, if you could make it read a PDF file to display charts instead of images that would be fantastic. It's a lot easier to download your sids and stars in PDF format and drop them in rather then trying to create an image file.

I agree it would be easier for the user; however, PDFs put more overhead on the system than jpegs or gifs. If they can implement it without losing FPS or speed in panning or zooming, then I'm all for it.

I'd like to see the 777's EFB integrated with third-party software like Jeppesen's, SimPlates X, Navigraph, or other instrument approach procedure provider.

I use Navigraph, on a 2nd PC, and would dearly love to export the plates for use in the EFB. Does anyone know how this can be done ?

Definitely agree here, makes it pretty difficult when you have to create images to add to each individual aircraft type. Would be nice to have a central EFB folder where you could just go and view PDF when you want. Have options to make individual folders within that folder so you can separate airports and appr/dep procedures for each

I use Sim Plates Ultra. Getting them into the EFB is easy enough, it's the editing the cs_efb.xml that slows me down. Shocked
