Gauge not lighting up 737-200 Base 1.0

I have done several reinstallments downloaded new installments but still the pitch up and down gauge will not light up on start up.Also noticed at the very end of the install a message says copy failed before actioning the rest of install. what is my problem.........................Regards robin

When I installed, I logged on as adminstrator to do the install.  Try this or at least right click and "run as administrator" - my system is Windows 7 64bit.

Sometimes if you load the plane with electrical power already on, as apposed to doing a cold/dark startup, that gauge will not be illuminated. Just click the brightness control button at the bottom right corner of the gauge. It should be a "slow" click, as is also necessary with the PDCS buttons. Click - hold - release.
