Stobe Lights Intensity

I would like to increase the intensity or brightness of the my CS 757-200 strobe lights.  Is there a way to edit the aircraft.cfg file to make this change?

Thanks for your help!  Smiley

I wanna do that too, in fact I'll check out the .cfg files and see if we can do something about it.

But... the aircraft.cfg file shows this in the lights section

light.0 = 9,  67.00,  -2.00,  5.19, fx_vclightwhi
light.1 =10,  67.00,   2.00,  5.19, fx_vclightwhi
light.2 = 7, -17.00, -47.00,  2.50, cs757_sf
light.3 = 7, -17.00,  47.00,  2.50, cs757_sf
light.4 = 8,  13.40, -17.47,  3.40, cs757_edge
light.5 = 8,  13.40,  17.47,  3.40, cs757_edge
light.6 = 5,  23.50,  -7.00, -3.50, cs757_edge
light.7 = 5,  23.50,   7.00, -3.50, cs757_edge

Not sure if the deal is here but if it is, what the heck do we change?  Grin

Maybe the strobe lights are a part of the MDL file. If they are, the only way to increase the intensity would be to edit the MDL file itself.

Actually you don't need to edit MDL. 757 uses "fx_strobe" effect. So try to edit it.

I thought there needed to be a line in the aircraft.cfg to say the strobes were using the "fx_strobe" effect.
But if I'm wrong, I'm wrong. Sorry about that.

You're right there should be strobe lines in aircraft.cfg, but there are not. And you're  right once again saying the lights are in MDL file.  Just open it with ModelConverterX and you'll see.
