Is there a way to speed up the jetway animation at FSX default airports, they move really, really slow?

I would be interested in that myself as well. I was going by the FSX SDK. As for the aircraft.cfg, I only found this sort of thing (found in the default A321 aircraft.cfg):
exit.0 = 0.4,  45.50, -6.0, 7.0, 0  //openclose rate percent per second, longitudinal, lateral, vertical positions from datum (feet), type (0=Main 1=Cargo 2=Emergency)
I do not see any mention the jetway operating speed within either of them. So if there it can be done in the aircraft.cfg, that is great.
I have always found the jetways to be the same speed regardless of the aircraft I am using. But maybe I just think they are.

Mark is absolutely right! I think I got mistaken here.
The rate only affects the speed of exit opening, I got confused and mixed it up with the jetway speed.
Sorry for that, I have checked and every question regarding the jetway speed leads to the conclusion that it cannot be changed in FSX. However some people speed up the sim rate, unrealistic but it all depends on what you find acceptable.

I think you are right. As my information from the A321 showed, the one they say is the Jetway speed, is actually the exit door opening/closing speed.

You would edit FSX config instead of the aircraft config, to get the desired effect.
I don't think it can be changed in the FSX config file.
This is how I believe it works: When creating an animated BGL file, like the jetway, in 3DS Max, gmax or even FSDS, you need to give the movements animation info, in seconds, and what it does within those seconds. I'll create something in gmax (it will be a basic object, nothing fancy) to show what I mean.

I will also try to get the correct answer on this when I can. I need to go to the development forum and ask them. Not sure how long before I will get an answer.
