Hi Markoz
Do you know if there is a fix to the indentation above the 1st passenger left window!!
https://photos.google.com/photo/AF1QipPY9szrLAlNYrOeB5sfC7wPVBqVZaUkfVo8RKm_

All I get when I click on the link, is this message:

GOOGLE

404. That’s an error.

The requested URL was not found on this server. That’s all we know.

I took a look at the exterior of the 777, around the area of the first left side window, but didn't notice any indetation there. So I don't really know what you're talking about. Sorry. Undecided

After installing update 1.7.1 when I go to exterior views, I only get a black cockpit, no aircraft body or wings. Any suggestions?

It sounds like the Activation has failed. Try the underlined part of KB #685:

Quote:
Q: How to reinstall a product?

A:
Quite a number of "issues" are caused by using of outdated version of a product. Prior to submitting a support request please make sure you have current version of a product.

To reinstall a product please perform the following steps in exact order:
Uninstall the product:
1. Go to Start> Programs> Captain Sim.
2. Select the product you wish to uninstall.
3. Click uninstall icon.

Install the product:
4. Make sure you have the latest version of the product
5. Run the product installer (the .exe file) and follow the prompts.
Please note: valid Order Number and Internet connection are required for installation/activation. Make sure you enter Order Number as is, without any spaces or characters before or after.

Please make sure you run the installation file as Administrator and that "User Account Control" is disabled (for Vista and Windows7), it limits admins ability to install programs. Also make sure your antivirus and firewall software is disabled during installation.

If regular reinstall did not fix your problem you can try to clean registry.
Please be careful and do it on your own risk!

How to clean Registry:
1. Uninstall the product
2. Go to Start> Run. Type: regedit, click OK.
3. Find the product entry in HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\CaptainSim\ (please note, for Windows 64bit versions it is HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Wow6432Node\CaptainSim\)
For example: HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\CaptainSim\C130XPRO
Make sure you are going to delete correct folder!
4. Delete the product entry folder.
5. Restart your computer.
6. Install the product.

If you stil have issues and the above does not help we must admit your system configuration is a rare exception. You can try to install the product on another system or request a refund.

From: General / Download/Installation (1 685)

To this, I would add two things:
1. Turn OFF, or disable, your Anti-Virus program when reinstalling the 777.
2. Do a Manual Offline Activation, not the Instant Online Activation.

The link to where to go to do a Manual Offline Activation is provided on the installer after you have generated the code, so take not of it! But in case you forget to do that, this is it: http://www.captainsim.com/activ/offline.php

My problem appears to be identical to what "Bill D"
posted during 2012.  With regard to "Captain 777-200:" I installed it, deleted it, and installed it a second time.  After the second install I continue to get a plane with no wheels.  The plane is depicted as floating in the air over the runway.  Out of curiosity I tried a take-off.  My control device is a joystick.  The plane responded to my throttle control but not the lift-off ("stick") control.
