A Captain Sim project that would be great, would the production of the DC3.
Other sim developers have tried to build one, but always muck-up.

A high quality DC-3 would be great.

The default DC-3 is fun to fly. That and the Piper J-3 Cub are the two best default aircraft in FSX. IMO.

Actually there is a HUGE fun to bush-fly C-130 instead of DC-3 Smiley

Yep, its a bit bigger, but it have much better view from cockpit, and you can land it anywhere. And it can fly reeeeealy fast, much like F1 Racing  Grin

I'm running some payware DC-2 with pleasure, but if CS would do a nice DC-3 in the ways like 707 and 737 I'll definitely be in.  Cheesy Those are extremely versatile planes, very robust structure and easy to fly. The DC-3 also got converted to a turbine engine thing with modern avionics here, serving Antarctica. http://www.baslerturbo.com/specifications.html

The Turbo DC-3 is really cool. I like how it has all the modern avionics and other goodies and still can do just about anything... they even have a gunship version!
